DGateway Organizations lets you register members with auto-generated IDs, collect event contributions via shareable WhatsApp links, run savings groups with monthly tracking, manage membership fees, and keep remittance records for full accountability. Every payment flows through mobile money (MTN, Airtel) or card. Members get their own branded login portal to track their activity.

Member Registration & Auto-Generated IDs

Add members individually or bulk-import from CSV. Each member gets an auto-generated ID in a customizable format like GFT/M/2026/001 (Initials/Gender/Year/Sequential). Members receive a welcome email with login credentials. Default password is their phone number — they can change it on first login.

Event Contributions via Shareable Links

Create events like 'End of Year Party' and generate a contribution link. Share it in your WhatsApp group — when members tap it, they enter their member number, see their details, enter an amount, and pay via mobile money. The USSD prompt arrives, they enter their PIN, and they're done. Guests can contribute too if you allow it.

Savings Groups with Monthly Tracking

Create savings groups where select members save money each month. A standing payment link lets members pay — they enter their member number, select the month they're paying for (paid months are automatically removed from the dropdown), enter the amount, and pay. The admin sees a member-by-month grid showing who saved and how much.

Membership Fees with Period Tracking

Define a recurring membership fee (weekly, monthly, or yearly) and share the payment link. Members click it, identify themselves, and select which period to pay for. Already-paid periods disappear from the options so there's no confusion. Track who has paid and who hasn't in a single view.

Remittance Records for Accountability

When money has been collected and needs to be spent (venue booking, supplies, catering), the admin records a remittance — the amount, purpose, date, and an optional receipt upload. This creates an accountability trail so every shilling is accounted for. No actual money moves through DGateway — it's a record-keeping system.

Branded Member Portal (Mobile-First)

Every organization gets a custom login page with your logo, background image, and tagline. Members log in with their member number and password to see their contribution history, savings balance, upcoming events, fee payments, and profile. The portal has a bottom tab navigation on mobile — designed for phone-first usage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?
Organizations use the same DGateway pricing. All payments (contributions, savings, fees) are charged an 8% platform fee, which is configurable by the super admin.
Can I import existing members?
Yes. Download the CSV template, fill in member details (name, phone, gender), upload it, preview the rows with duplicate detection, and import. Each member gets an auto-generated member number and a welcome email.
Do members need an account to contribute?
No. The contribution link is public — members just enter their member number to identify themselves. Guests can contribute too if the admin enables it for the event.
Can members withdraw their savings?
Currently, savings are tracked for record-keeping. There are no member withdrawals — the admin manages fund allocation through remittances.
Can I have multiple organizations per app?
Currently, each DGateway app supports one organization. If you need multiple, create separate apps for each.
What payment methods are supported?
Mobile Money (MTN/Airtel via Iotec and Relworx) and card payments (Visa/Mastercard via Stripe). Same providers as all DGateway features.
