Common Questions
Do I have to pay the connection fee?
Only if you plan to integrate via the v1 API. Selling through the hosted store (products, payment links, courses, events, link-in-bio, org payments) is free up-front — you only pay the per-transaction commission.
Is the connection fee refundable?
The connection fee is a one-time onboarding charge and is non-refundable once your live API access has been activated.
When is the per-transaction commission charged?
Only on successful transactions. Failed or pending payments are not charged. Default rate is 8% for API; some hosted-store modules (events 10%, products 12%, templates 13%, courses 15%) carry their own rates.
Are there monthly minimums?
No. No monthly fees, no minimums, no subscriptions. Hosted-store sellers only pay the per-transaction commission; API users add the one-time connection fee.
Does DGateway support subscriptions?
Yes. You can create recurring billing plans and charge customers on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis via the subscriptions API.
