How do I get started with DGateway?
Reach out to us via WhatsApp or email. We'll set up your account, generate your API credentials, and walk you through the integration.
What payment methods are supported?
We support MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money (via Iotec & Relworx), and card payments (Stripe) — all through a single API.
Which currencies does DGateway support?
Currently UGX, KES, TZS, and RWF for mobile money. USD, EUR, and GBP for card payments via Stripe.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. There's a one-time connection fee of UGX 150,000 to set up your account, then a flat 8% per successful transaction. No monthly fees or minimums.
How long does integration take?
A self-integration using our REST API typically takes a few hours. If you need our team to integrate for you, it usually takes 2–5 business days depending on complexity.
Is my data and my customers' data secure?
Yes. All credentials are encrypted at rest. API keys are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS across all endpoints.
Does DGateway support recurring payments?
Yes. Create billing plans, subscribe customers, and charge them each cycle via the subscriptions API. Supports daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and custom intervals.
Can I test before going live?
Yes. We provide a sandbox environment so you can test collections and disbursements end-to-end without moving real money.
When do I receive my payouts?
Collected funds accumulate in your DGateway wallet. You can request a withdrawal at any time from your dashboard — we process payouts within 24 hours on business days.
